Samantha emailed me a while back asking about maternity photos … It seemed so long ago yet the day has come and gone.  Sam and I were frosh together at Tyndale many years ago.  When John and Sam were here we talked about how we couldn’t believe it was so long ago.  I feel like it wasn’t that long ago when we were all sitting on Christie’s bed giggling while looking out those big screened windows wondering what our lives would be like.  I’m realizing more and more that this it and that I need to live in these moments otherwise they will pass us by without us even knowing it.  I love looking back and looking forward reminiscing and wondering what the future holds but sometimes I need to realize that what we have right now in this moment is amazing!  As Sam and Jon welcome a new life into this world I know they will cherish every moment.  Looking forward to … I mean I can’t wait to meet this little bundle of joy!

I had the privilege of being a guest at Hannah and James’ wedding.  But I couldn’t help and take a few photos along the way…  Listen and Enjoy the view!

I had a lot of fun with this little family of 4 about to become 5!  I met Gianpaolo and Alicia when Chad and I first started dating, Gianpaolo was the youth pastor at Bethel and we helped out with youth.  They now live in St Catherines which is two and half hours away so we don’t get to see them much.  One thing that I have found neat is watching them go from just the two of them to baby number 3 soon to be here! It is amazing to see how they have grown as parents and how they have grown as a couple too!

I found this little verse talking about motherhood…enjoy.

How to Really Love Motherhood

Remember to breathe.   Deeply and often. Name those feelings as they fly though your heart.   When your children are beastly & scream I HATE YOU (& they will) think of the warm sweetness of their tiny bodies why they were just new.   THIS TOO SHALL PASS $ far too quickly.   Let the dishes pile up & have a party instead.  Laugh A LOT.   Go puddle jumping & cloud-busting.  Build forts & climb trees.   Spend rainy days in bed snuggling & sunny days outside adventuring.   Sing loudly & off-key.   Dance like MANIACS!  Butterfly kisses & bear hugs cure broken heats.   Tell them they can be ANYTHING.  Tell yourself too.   Now believe it.   And don’t forget to breathe…..
