I would like to think I had something to do with these two getting together. Well not really but listen to this, about four years ago I was at Heritage College (where my sister was attending) and a random spontaneous dance party started!  Now, many of you know that Baptists are not known for their dancing skills!  But there were two people in that room that I could of watched dance all night!  One of which was Ashleigh and the other Jake.  I remember after the event Natalie (my sister) and I discussing how we thought those two would make the perfect pair!  Four years later with ups and downs along the way Ashleigh and Jake got married and I got to be there to take the pictures!  And boy can they dance!

Here are some of the photos from the day. Enjoy.

As many of you know explaining how Chad and I met can be confusing!  Sometimes it can be difficult having so many family dynamics to deal with but most of the time it is great! (If you have no idea what I’m talking about email me and I will fill you in with all the details!)  That being said it was so much fun to see how close Rebecca and Kris are to their families.  Rebecca said something in her speech that I will never forget “…before I got married I knew I always wanted to have a great relationship with his family as well…..” and she sure does!   After having a devastating year you can see how they truly support and love each other.

Rebecca and Kris got married on a beautiful sunny day in October.  These two are perfect for each other, not only did they know it from the third date but it’s obvious as soon as you meet them.  Their wedding was so much fun thanks for letting me be apart of all the joy and excitement.  Here are a few memories you don’t want to forget!

p.s. Rebecca you looked stunning!

The Sunday we were leaving for Iceland, Nathan came to church with a great idea.  Bring a wedding dress to Iceland!  Amber overheard the conversation and said she had a dress we could borrow.  Things couldn’t have gone any smoother and that’s how these photos came into being.  Nathan had been at a friends wedding the day before and talked to the photographer ( Krista Jefferson ) about Iceland who had told him about these photos ( Rowell Photography ) and the plan was put into motion.  It was so much fun taking photos of Rachel in a wedding dress in Iceland!  I even took a turn at it because really who wouldn’t want photos of yourself in Iceland in a wedding dress!  All the ones of me, Chad took.  He is a really good photographer too!  I love looking at his photos. I like to think I taught him everything he knows!

I love traveling and would love to shoot your wedding wherever you live so send me an email and we can discuss details!

If you haven’t looked at these first check them out too Iceland continued… and Falleg Land. Iceland.

Also check out Nathan’s posts here and here.
