I have been on vacation so I am trying to catch up on my blogging, but I am back and ready to post some more fun weddings! First up, I got to second shoot a beautiful wedding for Amber Chudy, a wedding photographer in Sarnia. It was so much fun and the wedding was beautiful. Jess made sure she thought of everything right down to the smallest of details! Weddings that represent the couple are definitely my favorites! I especially loved all the vintage touches!
Here are a couple photos from the day.
As we drove up and down the road the directions just didn’t add up. So we turned to the father for help, Jordan is my brother in-law and Ladawn is his newly engaged fiance! I did a photoshoot of them last summer for fun but after they made it official a couple weeks ago we knew we had to get some photos while we had the chance. Ladawn is from Saskatchewan and visits when she can. She is very busy getting her degree in piano and with flights being somewhat expensive she can only come so often. That is why when we heard from a friend of a friend about this house that had an old piano in it, we knew we had to take their photos there! It was a big change from the piano Jordan proposed to her on at the Royal Conservatory in Toronto but I’m sure this one was well loved! The story is that an old man lived here and died, the house just sort of died too I guess. It was really beautiful though. I loved that the chandelier was still hanging, kind of cool and eerie at the same time.
I remember when Jordan first started talking about this girl Ladawn that he had met at camp in Saskatchewan and how cool she was. They started talking on the phone a lot and everyone knew Jordan must be interested in her, you see he doesn’t have the longest attention span and for him to talk to someone for hours … we knew she had to be special! Two Christmas’ ago Ladawn came to Ontario to visit and Jordan was anxious and nervous about how he was going to ask her out. He did, the day she came and she said yes! But ever since that day you could expect the phone to be tied up when calling the Ouellette Residence! But truthfully you guys are amazing and a great example that long distance relationships can work, with a little effort of course! I can’t wait for the big day and I know it’s going to an amazing, artistic, and creative day!
So here a few photos from the morning shoot and then the later evening shoot. I shot a wedding in between them! But all the photos turned out beautiful. It was so hard to pick just a few to put up!
As I walked up the detailed curved staircase to the second floor I knew this venue was going to be a perfect setting for a wedding. When we got there we wandered around the grounds and watched as everything was being set. As I opened the door Sarah was finishing her make-up and her bridesmaids were trying to keep cool! The wedding took place at Elsie Perrin Williams Estate tucked away in the heart of London but it feels more like you have stepped into a different country. The wedding was beautiful and Bryce and Sarah kept calm even when the florist thought the wedding was the next day! After the flower situation everything went smoothly and the day was perfect! From the tears to laughter I loved being there to capture it all. Thanks Sarah and Bryce for letting be a part of your special day! Here is a sneak peak from the day….enjoy.
