I’m a bit of a worrier. My mother is a worrier and so is my grandmother, it comes to me naturally. But it’s nice to know our husbands help us out from time to time. I know with Chad if he gives me “the look” I realize my fears are irrational and I need to just relax because it’s going to be okay! Sarah and Chris have a similar look. As Sarah walked down the aisle something happened. Chris’ eyes glued to Sarah, and then Sarah’s eyes met Chris and everything changed. Her face changed from uneasiness to joy. It was like she knew that everything was going to be okay and that she was marrying the man of her dreams.
When Sarah asked me to shoot her wedding I was so excited. It was in Cornwall, Ontario which is 8 hours away from Sarnia. Definitely the farthest I have traveled so far to do a wedding. I was worried I would not know where to take photos or know how to get around town. But with the help of her family, everything worked out perfectly and the wedding was beautiful!
p.s. thanks mom for coming and being my assistant for the day!

In a fit of anger I slapped her in the face! Yes one day I was so mad at my little sister Natalie, I slapped her in the face. It only happened once in my life and she used it against me for many years to come! Many of you wouldn’t believe I could do something like that, I know I’m pretty nice! Natalie and I have a great relationship she is my best friend and I know she will always be there for me when I need her. That’s what I love about family no matter how mad they can make you, you love them always and forever. I remember my mom once said to us, “you can make fun of your family all you want but if someone else does, well they got it coming!” I love my family, I wouldn’t trade them for the world!
When Alisha asked me to take some photos of her brother and sisters… I didn’t know what I was getting myself into! Just kidding, they were great! I loved all the commentary during the shoot. We had planned to do it one afternoon a couple of weeks ago. So we got a couple shots but then it started to rain and it got really dark. But the next day was beautiful, so I emailed Alisha and asked her if they still wanted to do the painting (you will see what I mean below) and they were all for it! So again, thanks for laughing and loving!

“Everything happens at the right time.” Growing up around the corner in Sarnia is not where they met, living in Toronto at the same time just two blocks away from each other is not where they fell in love, and even when his son lived across the street from her in the little town of Petrolia, they did not bump into each other. But one night while Lindsay was on a date, Greg was introduced to Lindsay through a friend of a friend. She knew she had to meet this man again. Two months later she proposed and the rest is history.
The wedding took place at Bogey’s Inn located along the St. Clair River about 25 minutes out of Sarnia. It was a perfect setting for this green garden wedding. Lindsay wanted something a little different and asked all the guests to wear white while she wore green! With thunder roaring in the distance the wedding and reception all took place outside, and it was perfect!
